Regaining Control
An awful lot can change over the course of a single day. One may wake up, feeling refreshed and eager to begin a day full of productivity and social interaction. The sun may be beaming in through the curtains already brightening the day and lifting the mood into somewhat supernatural levels. It is a rare day, one may find, where the beginnings fill the heart and soul with positive attitudes so rarely found in the average 21st century day. It is often the unexpected that can undo all the wondrous feelings and optimistic outlooks. In our technological era, it is so easy to come across some news article, or unprecedented tidbit on social media that can undo even the brightest of moods. One may plummet so quickly and haphazardly from a wonderful mindset into one of morose, gloom or heartbreak. Our minds are so frail and easily swayed that only the smallest needle prick of an unsavoury happenstance can flip a bright day into an overcast, rain-soaked afternoon. We all suffer so incredibly
