A Sorrowed LossI lost someone I loved today,
   His soul now to fly free.
His heart to meander carelessly,
       As he watches over me.

He left us in the morning,
   During sleep; mind so calm.
His eyes clasped inside his inner being,
       Yet never all that far.

Tears were shed; hugs hardly felt,
   The pain; too much to bear.
In memory we fondly think of him,
       How life takes; it isn't fair.

Grandfather to many a child,
    Son to outlived dad.
Husband to a mourning

A time piece in stone,
The wall that withstands,
A wall that protects.
A wall that, beyond extreme labour,
Remains jubilant,
Against the endless attack,
Of time.

Destination;
A timely journey,
The track that leads nowhere,
Yet everywhere.
A track that guides you forward,
And shows you the way back,
Though light is never definite,
It guides.

Alteration;
A new look upon things,
New ways of living,
A way to see.
A change to see you smiling,
Or frowning,
The only way forward,
It propels.

Mutation;
An unplanned change,
A mistake to fail your heart,
A loss of mind.
A spontaneous fracture,
Hurtful wounds
